The BNC Girls Group Program has been holding lovely little zoom calls to connect with youth in the past month and it has been an absolute blast!
Program Coordinators Abby and Josephine have done a great job at creating mini custom packages that consist of activities for participants to do remotely with staff. They have delivered stationery sets, baking kits and more this past month.

Girls Group has been in operation for several years, the program is designed to teach young girls the value of positive self-image, the power in supporting each other, social skills, workshops provided by community professionals and university students teaching sports, science, mental and emotional well-being and group outings city wide for meaningful experience.
Girls Group has been made possible by Neighbourhoods Alive Grant Funding and the Province of Manitoba. This program is for the ages of 9-15 years.
