The Government of Canada is delivering the Community Services Recovery Fund through three National Funders – Canadian Red Cross, Community Foundations of Canada, and United Way Centraide Canada. The National Funders have distributed funding to eligible community service organizations, including charities, non-profits, and Indigenous governing bodies, providing services in communities in Canada.
The Broadway Neighbourhood Centre (BNC) is grateful to have received funding through the Government of Canada’s Community Services Recovery Fund (CSRF). We are undertaking the project entitled Creating a Sustainable Workforce: A Human Resources Initiative. We received funding of $74,166.40 to undertake this project.Â
The joint activity will build on the practices around safety and equity while stimulating the skills and knowledge set of BNC staff and volunteers in providing community services to its stakeholders.Â
