The Aboriginal Music Week is a music festival that presents Native, Metis, Inuit, and Indigenous artists that perform hip hop, electronic, world, folk, rock, country, and blues music.  This year, the festival is from October 30 – November 4, 2012.  The festival features 5 nights, 12 concerts, and 34 bands!!  BNC is honoured that our centre was chosen to host the Opening Night performances  by Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq and Metis spoken word artist Moe Clark  on October 30, 2012 at 7 pm.  Tickets are only $10 and they are going fast!  Click here for more information and ticket purchases. Partnered with the City of Winnipeg, BNC is proud to present a  Digital Photography Program for Youth.  This program will run for 8 weeks starting October 20, 2012 from 2 PM to 4 PM Saturdays for youth ages 14 – 17.  Youth will learn a variety of photography and image editing techniques and all equipment will be provided so just bring yourself!! The BNC is home to the Annual West Broadway SnoBall Businesses and residents of West Broadway look forward to the annual SnoBall event every winter.  Hosted by The Biz, West Broadway Development Corporation, RAY, Art City and Broadway Neighbourhood Centre, SnoBall offers a family friendly fun-filled day of ice skating, broomball and hockey activities, horse-drawn carriage rides, snow sculpting, and an outdoor obstacle course.
